Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: May 27, 2026

Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy to understand your cancellation options, renewal procedures, and refund boundaries.

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, renewals, refunds, billing errors, and statutory consumer rights apply to Sensyk subscriptions.

Sensyk provides digital access to an AI-assisted public equity research publication library. Paid subscriptions unlock immediate access to premium digital reports and archives. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.

2. Subscription Billing

Unless otherwise stated at checkout:

  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the billing interval (monthly or annual);
  • Billing intervals, pricing, currency, and taxes are clearly disclosed before checkout;
  • Payment processing is managed securely by Paddle; and
  • Your subscription continues until canceled, which stops future renewal charges.

3. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Sensyk account.
  2. Navigate to your Dashboard → Billing & Plans.
  3. Click Manage Subscription.
  4. Use the Paddle customer portal to cancel your renewal.

If you cannot access your billing portal, contact billing support at support@sensyk.com or general support at support@sensyk.com. Please include your registered email and Paddle transaction references.

4. Effect of Cancellation

If you cancel before your renewal date, you will keep paid Pro access until the end of the current billing cycle. No further recurring renewal charges will be processed, and your account will revert to the Free plan at the end of the paid period. Saved bookmarks or preferences remain subject to our Privacy Policy.

5. First-Time Satisfaction Refund

To align with our satisfaction policy, a first-time paid subscriber may request a full refund within 7 calendar days after the first subscription payment if they are not satisfied with the Service.

Note: We may deny or limit this voluntary refund if the request appears fraudulent, if the account has previously received a refund, if there is evidence of heavy scraping/bulk downloading/content redistribution, or if the plan was purchased under a customized enterprise agreement.

6. Renewal Charge Grace Period

If your subscription automatically renews and you forgot to cancel, you may request a refund within 48 hours after the renewal charge, provided you have not materially accessed or read Pro-only reports during that renewed billing period.

7. Digital Access and Non-Refundable Charges

Except as explicitly stated in this Policy or required by mandatory local law, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once digital access to the library is activated. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods, change of mind, unread reports, or accounts terminated due to terms violations.

8. Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges

We will fully refund verified billing errors, including duplicate charges caused by system malfunctions, incorrect subscription amounts charged, or renewals processed after a confirmed cancellation timestamp. Please notify support@sensyk.com within 14 days of the transaction.

9. Technical Access Failure

If you paid for a subscription but cannot access content due to a verified technical platform error on our side, and we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, we will provide a prorated refund, extension of access, or credit.

10. Statutory Cooling-Off and Withdrawal Rights

We honor mandatory local withdrawal or cooling-off rights for consumers purchasing digital services or digital content online.

EEA / EU Consumers

EEA consumers have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts. However, for digital content supplied immediately, you acknowledge that immediate supply and your express request waive your withdrawal rights under EU consumer protection regulations, except where mandated otherwise.

UK Consumers

We comply with UK Distance Selling regulations. Requesting immediate digital content delivery affects your cancellation rights, as outlined by UK law.

Korea Consumers

한국 전자상거래법에 의거하여, 디지털 콘텐츠 또는 즉시 제공 서비스의 경우 청약철회가 일부 제한될 수 있으나 강행규정에 따른 소비자의 권리는 완벽하게 보장합니다.

11. Taxes, Currency, and Payment Processor Fees

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. The timing of credit receipt may vary due to card network rules, foreign exchange conversion rates, and bank processing times. Paddle manages tax calculations and returns under applicable rules.

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback, we may suspend your access while the dispute is pending. Before filing a chargeback, please reach out to us at support@sensyk.com so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly.

13. Refund Processing Time

Once approved, we submit refund requests immediately to our payment processor. Depending on your financial institution, the refund will typically appear in your account within 5 to 10 business days.

14. Abuse Prevention

To prevent exploitation of our digital library, we reserves the right to deny refund requests if we detect repeated signup/refund cycles, unauthorized redistribution of reports, content scraping, account sharing, or fraudulent transaction attempts.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Updates will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.
